Swiss Plastics as a successful start to the exhibition year 2023
Overath, 02.02.2023 The Lucerne trade fair Swiss Plastics, which took place from 17 – 19 January 2023, was a good start to a successful trade fair year 2023 for exhibitors and visitors. BARLOG Plastics was on site together with its Swiss distributor HGD Polymers and presented the broad product and service portfolio of the family-owned company. The focus was on special compounds for future technologies and holistic concepts for reducing the CO₂ footprint in product development. The personal and familiar atmosphere of the trade fair provided a nice setting for intensive discussions with players in the Swiss plastics industry.
Overall portfolio met with great interest among Swiss visitors
BARLOG Plastics offers its customers a broad portfolio of products and services “from the idea to series production”. At Swiss Plastics, recycling compounds (KEBALLOY ECO), thermally conductive compounds (KEBABLEND / TC) and electromagnetic shielding compounds (KEBABLEND / EC) from the family-owned company were particularly in demand. In addition, the Swiss audience was interested in the various prototyping options and the comprehensive development services offered by BARLOG Plastics. “We are pleased to be able to present our entire product and service portfolio to visitors at this family-friendly trade fair. The large number of visitors with simultaneous intensive technical discussions shows us that Swiss Plastics is an important trade fair for us and the Swiss plastics industry and has established itself very well over the years,” says Tobias Haedecke, Division Manager Engineering at BARLOG Plastics.
Peter Barlog as speaker at the “Innovation Symposium
In addition to visiting the exhibitors, the audience also had the opportunity to take part in the informative lecture programme. Peter Barlog, Managing Partner of BARLOG Plastics GmbH, had the pleasure of appearing as a speaker at the “Innovation Symposium” in front of a large audience. His topic ‘Reducing the CO₂ footprint with recycled KEBALLOY ECO compounds’ met with great interest. “The presentation was not only followed very attentively, but also led some interested listeners to our stand afterwards,” Peter Barlog shared. “All in all, we draw a very positive conclusion from this trade fair and are already planning to be there again at the next Swiss Plastics,” he adds in conclusion.
