In addition to the extensive and expanded conference programme, there will again be ample opportunity for exchange and networking.
From plastics experts for plastics experts – this is the credo of the established trade conference of the plastics industry. Around 40 renowned exhibitors from the plastics industry have already registered for the 26th EKTT of BARLOG Plastics. The event will focus on a total of 24 specialist lectures and, for the first time, two workshops for all participants. The extended and informative conference programme will attract visitors from the plastics industry who want to keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in the processing of engineering plastics.
Wide-ranging programme of lectures on the central theme of “Thinking in terms of opportunities
The focus of the two-day event is the high-quality programme of lectures by well-known speakers, which will take a closer look at the focal points of materials, technologies and services on the central theme of “Thinking in terms of opportunities”. Starting with, for example, materials for e-mobility, there will be lectures on the topics of energy and resource efficiency as well as process optimisation in manufacturing. In the area of services, the lectures will focus on the holistic approach to sustainable component development. “All in all, the lecture programme offers plenty of specialist information and food for thought, so that you can take away opportunities and ideas for your company at the present time,” says Peter Barlog, Managing Partner of BARLOG Plastics GmbH.
Target group-oriented workshops for creative food for thought
This year, for the first time, the Engelskirchen Plastics Technology Days will offer two workshops for the development of joint ideas and the active discussion of accompanying questions. One workshop, for example, will be held on the topic of “Sustainability / Circular Economy” and will hit the nerve of the time with this topic. “Through this new concept, we want to strengthen interaction and exchange among the participants,” says Peter Barlog. “We all benefit from working out opportunities together – we should use these synergies,” he adds.
Evening get-together for networking and exchanging ideas
On the evening of the first day of the event, all participants of the 26th EKTT will have the opportunity to continue their discussions in a cosy atmosphere. In the event location 2T in Lindlar, food and drink will be provided. “We will round off the evening with delicious food and a glass of beer or wine. We are looking forward to this opportunity to meet old and new faces from the plastics industry in a familiar atmosphere,” says Peter Barlog.
