Engelskirchen Plastics Technology Days 2024: A meeting place for industry experts
Overath, 05.06.2024 The 27th Engelskirchen Plastics Technology Days (EKTT) organised by BARLOG Plastics GmbH will take place on 20 and 21 June at the Lang Academy in Lindlar. Under the motto ‘Sustainable development and production in the digital age’, the symposium invites experts to find out about the latest developments and trends in the plastics industry.
Lectures and workshops on current topics
The event is characterised by 27 specialist presentations given by renowned speakers and will highlight topics such as material innovations, technologies and services in the context of digital transformation. Highlights include contributions on sustainability, artificial intelligence and digitalisation. In addition to the presentations, two practice-orientated workshops will provide space for creative solutions and discussions, such as calculating the product carbon footprint of plastic components. ‘The current conference programme can be viewed on our event website www.ektt.de. At our event, we will once again be offering plenty of current topics and interesting speakers who will be happy to pass on their expertise to the audience,’ says Peter Barlog, Managing Partner of BARLOG Plastics GmbH.
Exhibition and networking
In addition to the extensive programme, there will be an accompanying exhibition with 40 exhibitors from the plastics industry. This will give participants the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the latest products and services in a direct exchange and to make valuable contacts. ‘The proximity and informal atmosphere at our EKTT offer plenty of opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas. The participants really appreciate this,’ says Peter Barlog.
Evening event to deepen contacts
There will also be a special focus on networking: on the evening of the first day of the event, a get-together will be organised at the 2T event location in Lindlar, allowing participants to continue their discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. Catering will of course be provided. ‘In our opinion, this is a very nice and traditional conclusion to the first day of the event, which encourages participants to network in a relaxed atmosphere,’ says Peter Barlog.
District Director of the Oberbergischer Kreis supports the opening of the 27th EKTT
This year, guests at the 27th EKTT can look forward to being welcomed and the event opened by Peter Barlog and the District Director of the Oberbergischer Kreis, Klaus Grootens. Grootens has held the office of district director since 2016 and, in addition to his role as general representative, is also deputy head of the district police authority.
Information on participation
The conference fee is 99 euros per person, which includes participation in all lectures and workshops, conference documents, catering and the evening event. Further information on the programme and ticket booking is available on the event website www.ektt.de.
