BARLOG Plastics at the Kunststoffenbeurs in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands

Overath, September 02, 2025 Barlog Plastics GmbH announces its participation in Kunststoffenbeurs 2025, which will take place on September 17 and 18 in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. Trade visitors to stand no. 326 b in hall 1 can look forward to practical insights into sustainable and innovative materials and forward-looking services for component development that are specifically geared to the current and future challenges the plastics industry is facing.

Material solutions for the highest standards of sustainability, performance, and cost efficiency

BARLOG Plastics will be presenting innovative, sustainable high-performance materials and comprehensive services at Kunststoffenbeurs. Among other things, the focus will be on the KEBALLOY ECO series, which offers glass and carbon fiber-reinforced grades made from recycled plastics as an environmentally friendly and cost-saving alternative to metal for structural components. Unreinforced variants with brilliant colors and high scratch resistance are ideal for use in housings. The portfolio also includes compounds based on recycled and bio-based plastics as well as PFAS-free solutions for applications that previously required PTFE-containing materials. A flexible modular system enables individual, tailor-made material solutions.

Customized material development & modular system

The demands placed on engineering plastics are becoming increasingly complex – from mechanical strength and chemical resistance to optical and haptic quality. BARLOG Plastics meets these challenges with a flexible modular system that allows the targeted development of customized materials. “Our customers can choose from a range of polymers, fillers, reinforcing materials, and additives, including functional fillers such as magnetic, thermally conductive, or electrically conductive materials, to configure their desired material,” says Peter Barlog, managing director of BARLOG Plastics GmbH. The modular design allows for quick material adjustments, reduces development risks, and offers high reproducibility. Bio-based or recycling-based solutions can also be implemented on this basis. The experts at BARLOG Plastics provide advice right from the start and accompany the material development process through to series approval.

Accelerating innovation and reducing costs

To shorten development times and reduce costs, BARLOG Plastics offers efficient services such as rapid tooling for the fast realization of prototypes and small series—the company also has special injection molding processes such as silicone, magnet, and Multi-component injection molding and the overmolding of metal parts using a vertical injection molding machine are also part of the portfolio. In addition, CAE simulations ensure early error detection and accelerated development processes. With a clear focus on innovation and sustainability, BARLOG Plastics will be presenting a wide range of services at the Kunststoffenbeurs that will help companies meet modern market requirements, optimize processes, and sustainably expand their competitiveness.

BARLOG Plastics looks forward to interesting and inspiring discussions at the Kunststoffenbeurs in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. You will find the company in Hall 1 at the joint stand of Kunststoffland NRW, stand number 326 b.
