27th EKTT with a wide-ranging programme on future topics in plastics technology

Overath, 13 May 2024 The 27th Engelskirchen Plastics Technology Days (EKTT) organised by BARLOG Plastics GmbH will take place on 20 and 21 June 2024 at the Lang Academy in Lindlar. With this year’s main theme of “Sustainable development and production in the digital age”, the event offers 27 informative and inspiring specialist presentations, an accompanying exhibition with around 40 exhibitors and two workshops. In addition to the extensive conference programme, there will once again be ample opportunity for networking and exchange.

By plastics experts for plastics experts – this is the credo of the established specialist conference for the plastics industry. Around 40 well-known exhibitors from the plastics industry have already registered for the 27th EKTT of BARLOG Plastics. The event will focus on a total of 27 specialist presentations and two workshops for all participants. The informative and wide-ranging conference programme attracts visitors from the plastics industry who want to keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in the processing of engineering plastics. The conference fee is only 99 euros per person, including conference documents, catering and evening event.

Broad programme of presentations on the key topic of “Sustainable development and production in the digital age”

The focus of the two-day event is the high-quality programme of presentations by renowned speakers, which will take a closer look at the key topics of materials, technologies and services on the key theme of “Sustainable development and production in the digital age”. This year’s focus will include important future topics such as sustainability, AI and digitalisation. The full conference programme is available on the event website. Target-group orientated workshops for creative food for thought

After a successful premiere last year, the Engelskirchen Plastics Technology Days are once again offering workshops this year to develop joint ideas and actively discuss related issues. For example, sustainable and resource-conserving component development is a topic that concerns many people. There is a suitable workshop for calculating the product carbon footprint. “The response to our workshops last year was very positive, so we have decided to offer our participants this programme again this year,” says Peter Barlog.

Evening get-together for networking and exchanging ideas

On the evening of the first day of the event, all participants of the 27th EKTT will have the opportunity to continue their discussions in a cosy atmosphere. Catering and culinary delights will be provided at the event location 2T in Lindlar. “As every year, there will be a cosy end to the first day with delicious food and a glass of beer or wine. We look forward to continuing and deepening the discussions of the day in a relaxed atmosphere,” says Peter Barlog.

Further information on the event, the conference programme and the possibility of booking tickets is available at www.ektt.de.
