Depending on the classification of the medical technology application, the use of plastics in medical technology includes not only material properties but also special regulatory and organizational requirements.
Kocetal® M offers all the typical advantages of POM copolymers: good mechanical properties with high stiffness and toughness, excellent long-term properties with good creep behavior, good spring properties, excellent sliding and wear behavior, chemical resistance and dimensional stability.
Kocetal® M meets the biocompatibility requirements of USP CLass VI and ISO 10993-5 and is suitable for food contact in accordance with FDA and EU directives. The products of the Kocetal® M range are manufactured in our own plant in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and are subject to particularly strict quality criteria. No changes are made to the formulation or manufacturing process and long-term availability is guaranteed with a 2-year notice period for any changes in product or availability.
